Today is Day 1 of the class and so far….. This Is Awesome!
We went over some very basic stuff. We discussed the SWIC and checked out the website there with all the files a person could ask for. We went over the basics of deployment to an incident.
What do you need to know before you go? And what do you need to take with you in your Response Kit. Etc. Met lots of great people and learned some key things that will be needed. Skills to work on for the future are clear now. 4 more days to go!

T-568B is what you see most commonly but some federal facilities require T-568A as it matches multi-line POTS pinout.

That is information on the TAK
One thing to note for the Mac users is there is not a TAK client for Mac (or Linux). You have to use WebTAK (the web UI) and that may or maynot be configured. I have to get into the docs from DPS to find that info out.
