Panhandle Amateur Radio Club (PARC)

Promoting Amateur Radio in the High Plains of Texas Through Education

W5WX

The Panhandle Amateur Radio Club is dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of the Amateur Radio hobby. Our mission includes education, fellowship with other panhandle operators, emergency preparedness and public service.

Our club is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League, Inc. — ARRL.  Many of our members participate in the many exciting contesting opportunities sponsored by ARRL and other special interest groups.  Amateur radio offers activities for any interest from CW to voice to digital —  the possibilities are endless!

The Panhandle ARC meets the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at 1900 Line Ave, Amarillo, TX, 79102. We cordially invite you to attend our meetings and join our club!

Our mailing address is:

PO Box 10221, Amarillo, TX 79116

Testing for licensing is offered after every regular club meeting. Contact Melinda Koster, Testing Coordinator, for details and requirements. Testing is free and is offered through Laurel VEC
